I am Kevaughn Bryan, Executive Director of the Bryan and Friends Ray of Hope Foundation, an initiative where compassion meets heart and care goes beyond limit.

I live by a simple yet powerful philosophy: to do all the good I can, for all the people I can, in every way I can, for as long as I can.

This philosophy has been the driving force behind my commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals who struggle to meet their basic needs. Bringing joy to others and making a meaningful impact in their lives fills me with genuine happiness.

The Heart Behind the Foundation

The idea of establishing the Bryan and Friends Ray of Hope Foundation collectively came from deep within the hearts of its founders, driven by love, compassion, with shared vision and a strong desire to give back to some of the most vulnerable groups in our society, particularly those with special or basic needs.

The inspiration to help arose from the recognition of elderly individuals in and around the St. Catherine area who are living below the poverty line, unable to care for or support themselves, and lacking the essential support of family. Among these individuals are retired professionals without pensions or with inadequate pensions, leaving them financially vulnerable. After encountering some of these individuals, the founders were motivated to expand their search for others in similar or even worse situations, aiming to offer a helping hand to improve their lives with whatever support is possible.


The increasing number of homeless individuals on the streets is also a source of our concern. While the foundation may not yet be in a position to provide housing, it is committed to assisting with essential survival needs such as food, clothing, and basic healthcare, with the hope of one day establishing a shelter to address their other needs while empowering them to improve their quality of life.

The foundation also focuses on supporting other vulnerable groups, including children, persons with disabilities, and those who are isolated or neglected, and who lack the resources to meet their fundamental needs, which is also an attribute to the formation of this foundation.

We spent a bit of time waiting for the “right” moment to begin this journey. Eventually, we came to the realization that there would never be a perfect time, and the only option was to seize the present moment and take action.

The Bryan & Friends Ray of Hope Foundation is committed to uplifting lives by spreading joy, hope, and support to all those in need. We are grateful to be bless and strive to stay dedicated to being a source of blessing to others.

Living by the mantra “Education lights the path out of poverty, but charity walks beside it—ensuring no one is left in the dark.”

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management and a lifelong commitment to service, Christopher Foster leads the foundation with strategic vision and compassion.

His journey in social impact began with 4h Club and Circle K, and today, his work focuses on two pillars: feeding the homeless and empowering youth through education.

I am Jason Johnson, a social worker in training and an advocacy for the marginalized and less fortunate. This foundation has evolved in a time when persons are in need of social services, care, and attention. As a social worker in training, I am desirous in abiding by the core principles of the profession. Service above self, worth and dignity of the person and social justice for all. I am delightful to be a part of this great transformation. Being a ray of hope for many.
